Hello, it's your friends in The Stationary Set.

In July, we are embarking on the most ambitious tour of our career to-date, travelling all the way to the west coast.For us, it's vital to be sharing our music with people we haven't been able to reach during our previous tours.

It should prove to be fun, but this is no vacation. The five of us will be gone for 3 weeks- a lot of gas, a lot of food, and NO days at our jobs. It's a lot of money, and we're not sure where that money is going to come from, as we are not financially supported yet.

So why go?

Well, over the last 3 years, the five of us have been working hard to turn The Stationary Set into a viable, creative career. And in the past few months, we've made some huge headway in assembling a team that will help us do this. We are managed by wonderful Jamie Farkas (who is the GM of Vice Records) and legally represented by Peter Lewitt (a big name in the game). The final player we're looking for in our team is a solid booking agent to get bigger and better shows, put in front of more and more people, and actually paid closer to a living wage.

In California, we are going to have the opportunity to play in front of some of the best agents in the country. We have also been selected by BMI as their "band of the month", and will be playing a showcase in LA for record industry reps. Important people have confirmed that they will be there. We need to be there too.
